Exposed fastener (R-panel, 5V crimp) — screw-down ribbed metal panels. Most affordable metal option. 25–40 year lifespan. Best for outbuildings, agricultural buildings, and budget-conscious residential.
Stone-coated steel — galvanized steel panels with stone granule coating that mimics shake, tile, or shingle. Looks traditional, performs like metal. Class 4 hail rating, 50-year warranty.
