Seamless aluminum gutters
Seamless gutters are formed on site from a continuous coil, so the only seams are at corners and ends. Fewer seams means fewer leaks. For most Atlanta homes we recommend 6" gutters with 3x4 downspouts — summer storms can drop more water than a standard 5" system can carry, especially off steep or large roof sections.
Gutter guards
If you have trees overhead — and most of metro Atlanta does — guards save you from climbing ladders twice a year. We install LeafFilter and other guard systems, on new gutters or on existing ones that are in good shape.
Copper gutters
Copper half-round gutters with round downspouts suit historic homes and pair with copper bays, porches and standing seam accents. They're soldered at the seams and age to a natural patina.
Before we hang anything
Gutters are only as good as the board they're attached to. We check the fascia and replace rotten sections first, and make sure drip edge is directing water into the gutter, not behind it.
Frequently asked questions
Should I replace gutters with my roof?
If they're near the end of their life, yes — it's easier and the drip edge and gutters can be set together. If they're in good shape, we protect them during the roof job.
5-inch or 6-inch gutters?
For most Atlanta homes, 6-inch. It handles heavy summer rain and clogs less.
Do gutter guards really work?
Good ones greatly reduce cleaning. Nothing is zero-maintenance, but guards keep leaves and pine straw out of the gutter and downspouts.
