Credentials

Our certifications and credentials.

Anyone can call themselves a roofer. These are the licenses, manufacturer certifications and partnerships behind the work we do — and what each one means for you.

GAF Certified Contractor

GAF is North America's largest roofing manufacturer. GAF Certified contractors are licensed and insured and have met GAF's requirements to install its roofing systems. That means your GAF shingles are installed to the manufacturer's spec, so the manufacturer's warranty is protected.

Duro-Last Authorized Dealer

Duro-Last makes custom-prefabricated PVC roofing membranes for flat and low-slope roofs. Only authorized dealers can sell and install Duro-Last systems. That lets us offer factory-fabricated PVC roofs for restaurants, commercial buildings and flat residential roofs. More on Duro-Last PVC roofing.

Attic Armor Certified Installer

Attic Armor is a ridge-vent pest barrier that isn't sold in supply stores. We work directly with the manufacturer, and material ships straight from them to our office. Mosaic is Attic Armor's preferred roofing contractor in Georgia and the only certified installer serving Northeast Georgia. What Attic Armor does.

Licensed and insured in Georgia

Mosaic Roofing Company LLC holds Georgia contractor license GBL-0523-21153 and carries general liability and workers' compensation insurance. Ask us for a certificate of insurance before any job. Any roofer should be able to send one the same day.

A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau

Mosaic holds an A+ rating on our BBB business profile.

HAAG-certified inspectors on storm claims

HAAG Engineering trains and certifies inspectors in identifying hail and wind damage. The inspectors we work with on storm claims are HAAG Certified, so the damage reports we give your adjuster follow the same standards insurance companies train their own people on.

What to ask any roofer

  • Can you send your license number and a current certificate of insurance?
  • Which manufacturer certifications do you hold, and which warranty will my roof carry?
  • Who will be on my roof: your own crew, or a subcontractor?
  • What does your workmanship warranty cover, for how long, and does it transfer if I sell?

See our warranties for how we answer the last one.
