Insurance Claims

Insurance claims, handled for you.

You shouldn't have to become a roofing expert to get your claim paid correctly. We do the technical work — scope documentation, adjuster meet, scope supplements — so your carrier pays what the roof actually costs to repair.

What We Do

Pre-claim to final check.

Insurance companies don't train their adjusters to be roofers. They train them to close claims fast. That means scope gaps — missing ridge cap replacement, undersized decking line items, incorrect material grade — are normal, not malicious. But those scope gaps cost homeowners 20–40% of what the actual repair requires. We close the gap.

Common Scope Gaps

What adjusters frequently miss.

  • Missing ridge cap replacement — adjusters often price at "repair" when it needs to be full replacement.
  • Undersized decking allowance — only 1–2 sheets budgeted when actual damage requires 5–10.
  • Wrong shingle grade — adjuster writes for builder-grade when existing roof was architectural.
  • Missed flashing + drip edge — not included in the original scope even though code requires replacement.
  • Code upgrades — Georgia code changes since your original roof install often add required line items not in the adjuster's default template.
  • Gutter + fascia damage — frequently overlooked even when storm impact affected them.
Cost Breakdown

What you pay vs. what insurance pays.

On an approved claim, your carrier pays the full repair or replacement cost minus your deductible. That's it. No hidden fees, no hourly adjuster-meet charges from us — it's part of the service when we're also doing the repair.

"Kyle and the team handled the insurance adjuster for us after the hail. Got way more covered than I thought possible. No games, just honest work."

FAQ

Common questions.

Do you charge for claim assistance?
No — when we're handling the repair under the approved claim, the claim assistance is included. Standalone claim-only consulting is $150/hour (rarely needed).
Can you work with any insurance carrier?
Yes — State Farm, Allstate, USAA, Liberty Mutual, Farmers, Progressive, Nationwide, and all major regional carriers. We've worked with most of them.
What if I already filed a claim and got denied?
Send us the denial letter + adjuster report. We'll review the scope and advise on whether an appeal is worth pursuing.
What if my claim is approved but the check won't cover the actual repair?
That's a scope gap. We submit a supplement to your carrier with detailed documentation of the missed items. Most supplements get approved within 2–3 weeks.
Can I pick my own contractor on an approved claim?
Yes. Georgia law gives you the right to choose your own contractor on any approved claim. You're not obligated to use the carrier's preferred vendor.
